Lucky for me, my father began teaching me the family wine
tradition in my youth. Together we did the entire process by hand.
This helped me understand the basics of winemaking at an early age.
Our commitment at Bruno Cellars has always been to gently handle the
wines without the use of grape beating must pumps, excessive
sulfites, automated bottling lines, and similar industrial
techniques. Two things my father always stressed were absolute
cleanliness and purchasing only the finest grapes possible.

We love to drink great wine, and happily shared this labor of
love with our family and friends. As a degreed industrial engineer, I realized
the need to further my education and turn the art of winemaking into a
combination of love and science. Years of classes at UC Davis helped me gain a
greater chemical understanding of the winemaking process. Since 2002, my wife
and I have utilized our combined knowledge and passion to produce quality red
wines year after year. We thank you for enjoying them and are truly happy to
share our passion with so many.
